Great experience with our tour guide Jessica. She was wonderful, attentive, and super personable. After picking us up at our Canada side hotel, we proceeded to the border. After a short stop through US customs, she gave us an overview of the day while sharing helpful information on how to get the best photos, what ponchos to keep(the maid of the mist are better) for the later cave walk.
It was a long day but enjoyable. She was genuine in her effort to provide anecdotes and information throughout the day. She was a wonderful guide and I would happily do another tour with her.
The tour package was worth the money for a family of four. We all had a great time seeing all the sites on the tour. Jessica was great!
The cave tour no longer has sandals for guests so be sure to bring your own, or some other water shoe.
** Sandals with a heel strap are best. Plain sandals might fall off with the water pressure during the cave walk portion.
One of us went barefoot during this, since she only had walking shoes. It was fine, wasn’t slippery.
There are no appropriate sandals sold at the gift shop either so it’s best to bring your own.
