What if we don’t see any mantas? It is an extremely rare occurrence, but if we do not see ANY manta rays on our Night Manta Experience, you are welcome to come back out with us again during the same vacation, based on availability, totally free of charge. Make sure you call us right away so that we may reschedule you! Non-refundable and non-transferable.

My family took a second trip to Kona and embarked on the night manta ray experience with SeaQuest once again. We had gone last year and thought that it was great. We went this year and thought it was phenomenal! There were seven of us in our group, and all of us continued to talk about the manta rays during our entire trip to the Big Island. A big shout out to Captain Hope, who led this great excursion. Hope was full of information, and kept all of us informed and comfortable on our excursion. Her crew was great too, which included John, Siena, and Zoey. The SeaQuest manta ray snorkel is a must if you come to the Big Island.

Awesome experience with the Manta Rays (7 total that evening). Enjoyed it so much we booked the Captain Cook Express for the next day where we saw tons of fish and a turtle. Great crew on both. Very knowledgeable about the sea life as well as the area. I am not very experienced in snorkeling and they were very patient and helpful. Would highly recommend them.

If you are on the fence about the Manta Night Snorkel, let this review (out of the hundreds of others!) be the one to convince you. I am petrified of sharks and knowing that bull sharks prey on manta rays it took A LOT of convincing to get me to sign up for this tour. But Sea Quest handled me & the 7 year old on our tour who shared similar fears (okay, okay, he was afraid of the dark but still!) super well - constantly checking in with us, making sure our flotation devices (they give you noodles to keep your feet afloat so you don't accidentally hurt the rays!). I felt super safe the entire time and it really was one of the most magical experiences of my life. Don't let the price deter you. This is one of the only places in the world you can swim with these magical creatures.
