What if we don’t see any mantas? It is an extremely rare occurrence, but if we do not see ANY manta rays on our Night Manta Experience, you are welcome to come back out with us again during the same vacation, based on availability, totally free of charge. Make sure you call us right away so that we may reschedule you! Non-refundable and non-transferable.

I have only snorkeled briefly a few time on vacation. I am not a strong swimmer. Neither of these things mattered. The staff is excellent. Right from the start of me swearing the wet suit was too small and them reassuring me it was the correct size and would loosen as I wore it in the water ( felt like I had six pairs of spanx on). But they were right. You do want the wet suit. You think you’ll be fine without it but trust me, 30 minute in the water and you will start getting cold! Your taken to the boat in groups of 14 or less. You get on the boat and then a quick 5 min ride to the location. Your given snorkel gear. You then get in the water with a floating noodle. I had trouble going over the side of the boat due to fear so the captain lowered me down very easily which was awesome of him. Once in the water you make you way over to the floating board and grab onto the side handles. Your noodle is used to keep your feet up so your floating straight as to not bother the Mantas. Then the fun begins. You lay there and after a few minutes we saw so many mantas. They turn and swim and even sometime brush up against your stomach. They are HUGE!!! After about 45 minutes we are taken over to the boat where you easily climb a ladder into the boat. Then back to the shore. Along the ride you are offered drinks. I am not a swimmer or great snorkeler and I was able to easily do this. We had both young and old people in our group that could do this. Parking is a mess but there is a lot near the hotel that we parked in. The staff is excellent and goes out of their way to make it a fun and interesting time. If anyone gets sick or tired they will help you back to the boat. Your arms will get tired from holding on so be prepared. My muscles ached for hours afterwards.

This is a "must do" experience if you are in the area! A very short (about 5 minutes max, for those of you who tend to get seasick) out to the snorkel spot. You are given a wet suit because by the end of your time in the water, you will get chilly. The hot cocoa on the ride home will help! :) The manta experience will take your breath away. We had several mantas that entertained us, rubbing our bellies and legs with their fins, even though we were flat on the surface. The staff was entertaining, knowledgeable, professional and we felt very safe in and out of the water. We tried this experience with another company as well, and this was by far our favorite. The time in the water is the same with the other tour companies, but this spot was less busy and chaotic from what the other tour companies used and the boat ride was shorter. Book here and be sure to bring your underwater video camera!

I went on the night manta experience and saw manta rays swimming under me and doing barrel rolls for 40 minutes straight and it was amazing. The boat is top-notch and the crew is excellent. Go on this whimsical nighttime excursion.
