I REALLY wanted to love this experience. Unfortunately I wish I'd gone with a different company. There were a number of issues.
1) We were only in the water for 29 minutes. I recorded the entire thing start to finish on my go pro so I know this is accurate. The boat ride was 25 minutes there and 25 minutes back. A total of maybe 1 1/2 hours but it was supposed to be 2 1/2 hours.
2) When we arrived at the Manta ray location, a tour guide hopped into the water to drop the anchor. When he came out, he was shivering feverishly and said "oh my god it's freezing in there." That was extremely discouraging since we were all about to hop into the water.
3) They ran out of pool floaties to rest our feet on and swim with. 5 of us didn't have pool floaties. When I asked about this, the tour guide said, "We ran out since some people took two floaties." I said, "Aren't we supposed to swim laying flat on the surface?" My 10 year old child didn't even have a pool floatie. I had to ask for us to receive them- which I shouldn't have had to do.
4) A woman further down the line started screaming but spoke a different language so I couldn't understand what bit her. She screamed and screamed and screamed! We continued to stay in the water, but the tour guide never announced what happened which was very concerning. I found out later she was stung by a jellyfish.
5) Since I was one of the last to get in, I was placed at the end. The guy to my left was having trouble swimming. His arm blocked half of my view and when he went to climb out, he was touching all over me and pushing me down for a full two minutes until the guide came to help him swim.
The tour guides really need to improve. I was looking forward to it and was so disappointed. A smaller group would've been way better.
