Note: the resort does not allow children under 18 in the outside rock pool. However, they may use the indoor pool under adult supervision.

  • We can only pick up from inside the city limits of Fairbanks or North Pole. For other locations, you will need to go to an agreed location (eg Walmart), please contact our office to discuss if you are staying outside the city limits.
  • Water is not supplied for this tour. We recommending bringing a refillable water bottle.

Bottom line: These guys canceled our tour 2 hours before it was due to start, and offered no assistance helping us find something else. We spent several hours of our short Fairbanks stay scrambling to recreate our tour, trying to get to Aurora and the hotsprings. In the end, we spent way more money plus four hours of our own time driving. The only thing keeping this from being a one-star review is Jessica, whom we got on the phone the next day and who offered to make up for half the tour (taking us to the hot springs) on her own time. Give Jessica a raise, y'all! That offer didn't end up working out (Jessica's availability did not match ours), but we so appreciate her at least trying to problem solve with us. These owners really need to think about their approach to customer service. You can't stop all eventualities from happening. i would highly reccomend this tour with our tour guide chris!! he is super knowledgable about alaska and its history. he was also more than a tourguide, he is super friendly, funny, and a great person who loves alaska and what it has to offer. he is awesome! he didn’t rush us anywhere or force us to do anything, and he let us decide how long we wanted to stay at the hot spring and the river where we drove to on the way back. the ice museum was also super cool and we had plenty of opportunities to take pictures. the dinner was also really good, it’s a little on the pricier side ($40-$60) but that’s only for the seafood - i got a burger that was pretty good for $20. they also had some salad options that were $12 as well. the actual hot spring was amazing, the walk in the cold is only about 20 seconds and it’s inside right up until the water. the water is HOT, so i actually stood up out of the water to cool off at some points. your hair will get wet no matter what because its so steamy. it’s only 4-5 feet deep and the ground underwater is nice to step on, like little rocks at the bottom of a fish tank. we even got lucky enough to see the northern lights while in the hot spring and they were so pretty. then on the way back we also got to stop a few more times to see the lights again, and chris let us stay for as long as we wanted! even though on the pricier side, i think the trip overall was definitely worth it and i recommend having chris as a tour guide to anyone!
