Dante is a terrific guide as he introduced us to the lower East side and the delicious food to be found there. We learned a great deal about the neighborhood, the food establishments, and the food itself. Bring your appetite for this fabulous tour!

Dante was a terrific guide showing us around the lower East side, telling us the history of the establishments, and the foods we sampled. Great food and a lot if it! Come with an appetite ready to eat some fabulous food!

Dante was an excellent guide, very personal, very smooth filling in all the gaps in a conversation, and helping disparate groups of people feel like a single cohort. He dealt with each situation with grace and humor, even when tripping over a very sneaky piece of luggage, managing to save 3/4 of Vanessa's dumplings on a tray! (You will have to ask him about it). The places we visited were very charming, and the food was excellent! You come away very full, and a firm appreciation of the food variety available in NYC.
