I am almost speechless with aplomb for Karen Q’s Revolutionary War Era tour. That’s how good it was. As a historical walking tour guide in Philadelphia I know how high our standards are. Karen is not only knowledgeable in the breath and depth of her subject matter, she has the X factor that every exceptional tour guide needs; accurate and entertaining delivery. Her command of the material is intricately enriched researched with primary source documentation and is filled with anecdotes and quotes that roll off her tongue with ease. It is worthy of her own scholarship and I look forward to her upcoming book to be released next spring. Three cheers for Karen cues revolutionary war era tour!!! Kyle Jenks

Karen is very knowledgable and enthusiastic about Revolutionary era history in NYC. She is also verbose and provides a lot more detail than we were looking for. But if that's what you like you will enjoy this tour. We had enough after 2.5 hours and left early.

Highly recommend. Karen walks you through lower Manhattan & explains the many ways the island transformed culturally, commercially & played a role in the American revolution. She is able to illustrate the fascinating historical narrative with contemporary newspapers & maps which she has laminated & shares with the group at various times throughout the tour. It really makes the history come alive. When I return to NYC will certainly schedule another tour. On the practical end, her directions for taking the subway were perfect. She met us exactly where she said she would be. She only takes small groups, so no shouting or talking through microphones. Thanks, Karen for a memorable morning & for knowing all of the dry hiding places.👍🌂
