Whilst the cruise was good , and the crew were lovely and friendly, I was not impressed with the “ meet and greet” process pre boarding. We were on the 7pm cruise . The dockside was dark, so I’d have expected the small marque where we had to wait pre boarding to be lit and also expected to be greeted in a slightly friendlier manner by your representative who was there

On the day of the trip i called the main customer service line to double check everything and also to ask if we could go on an earlier boat which we were told we couldnt as our booking was for 7.30pm but all was confirmed for that time. We were given the instructions to meet at pier 36 at 7.15pm for the 7.30pm cruise. On arrival it was evident that not much was happening and the guy on security told us that the last boat out that night was at 6pm i called the customer service number provider who gave me a number for the local tour provider for the cruise the number was not recognised i called back 3 more times to be merely told sorry we will give you a refund. By this point we had wasted 3 hours hanging around downtown new york around pier 36 as it seemed pointless heading back into the city centre. I was so angry with the tour operators that they obviously didnt really care one even put the phone down on me. Our trip was 7th december and we are still yet to receive our refund. Absolutely disgusting customer care and service

The cash bar actually charged for ICE, in addition to the alcohol. Pretty cheesy. The deck covering at the bow, outside, was bunched up and people tripped on it several times. That's a lawsuit waiting to happen. The ride itself was excellent though. Too bad the boat itself wasn't so nice.
