A ten minute tour of the big house was inadequate. Boring . The slave buildings were not original and we should have been told this. Restaurant was awesome and the waitress was wonderful. Swamp tour sucked. Our guide, a marine biologist (what a joke) laughable really. A older gentleman and I use that term loosely. He insulted all of us cause we didn’t know alligators. That is why we took the tour idiots. A total waste of my money. I will never recommend this and will make a point of letting others know. Thank you for the opportunity to give you my comments.

We're sorry that you didn't get the experience that you expected out of Oak Alley. However, we do not own Oak Alley- we only provide transportation as part of our plantation and swamp tour combo. As for the swamp tour, the behavior that you described about our captain is abnormal. He is usually our best captain according to our guests. However, we will address it properly.

Started out with the bus ride to the plantation - Dimitra was the driver and she was friendly, informative, and funny. WE got to the Oak Alley Plantation - the house and grounds are beautiful - the tour guide for the house was great. After lunch, we went to Swamp Tour. Bebop was our captain for the air boat ride - he was great. Told us everything you could possibly want to know about alligators and was really funny. Had us laughing every time he stopped the boat to speak (we had ear muffs on while the boat was moving). I very much recommend this tour!
