Your host will be a Terra Overland off-road Adventure Guide who will chauffeur the vehicle, share knowledge about your adventure, answer questions, and provide off-road driving instruction* and techniques necessary to traverse the particular terrain of the Adventure you choose.

It never happened. Nobody picked us up or returned my calls. I looked for the Basecamp the day before and could not locate the address. I called all numbers available and I can only assume we were scammed. Talked to some locals and they said there was a place across the street,but it's been gone for months. 533.32, which I may never see again. I will not use trip advisor ever again.

I purchased an excursion for my son, daughter-in-law and their friends as a gift for Christmas. Trip was scheduled for 9:30 am on 3/8. Their departure time came and went and no one showed up for the trip. We tried calling the number provided and the voicemail box was full. I tried sending text communications through the trip advisor page and still no response. Extremely disappointing as their out of state weekend get-a-way was planned around this excursion. I was finally was able to get a hold of someone through trip advisor and they too were unable to get ahold of anyone with Terra Overland. They helped initiate the request for refund. Such a disappointment! I will be sure to cancel the second excursion I have booked for later this month!

Day trip from Wintergreen with our 6 and 8 year olds. The kids were nervous at first about Dad's lack of experience driving off-road, but everyone had a ball! Shawn was a terrific guide -- full of insight about the vehicle, the region, the terrain... Highly recommend!
