You should take a tour of Grand Central, but you need to find a better tour group. i paid for 6 adults for a tour . The group turned out to be 23 people. The office said, that no, there were only 20 people on the tour --- but that is incorrect, there were 23 people walking around with the guide.
There were no headphones offered to our group, although their office said we were offered headphones . That seems odd, that every single person turned down a headphone set ?
The guide seemed to be in a great hurry. He talked very fast, and we could not understand most of what he said, because the place is loud, and it was impossible to hear him.
Two of us left the tour after about 10 minutes. We could hear nothing, and the guide acted like he couldn't wait to be done with the whole thing. We paid $40 each for this tour.
There should be no more than 8 people in a tour group. Find a guide who gives independent tours , not an agency like this, who will throw together as many people as possible.
