This is run by a man (the tour guide) and his wife. You can tell they are truly interested in the history of the city and love taking people on these tours! Fun, witty, and very educational. Support local Philadelphians and choose this tour!

Tim led our 1.5 tour that actually turned out to be closer to 2 hours because we got to witness the sprinkler testing of the Christ Church building in the Old City. Tim promptly met us (my 16 year old son and husband) and led us through the Old City with specific stops along the way. Tim was funny and was chock full of history! He was able to cater the tour and commentary to my family as well as an additional family with smaller children. Worth the cost for sure, I highly recommend Tim and Founding Footsteps!

It was just what we were looking for and exceeded our expectations. We learned so much and saw things we never would’ve on our own. Tim was great! Very knowledgeable and funny. I asked a lot of questions and he knew the answers to all of them. You can tell he’s really passionate about Philadelphia history and Benjamin Franklin. It’s pretty cool. I really enjoyed this tour. I’m from California but live in the Philly area now. I’ll definitely be taking all my visitors on this tour. I highly recommend it!
