Ben our guide was great and showed us some places in Hawaii. The memorial was great as well. We enjoyed paying our respects.

This “tour” is a racket and is so disappointing and infuriating. The tickets to the USS Arizona are distributed by the park service for FREE on a first come, first serve basis. Services like Viator buy them all up, likely using a bot (they are released at a certain time each day, and despite my husband and I logging in at EXACTLY the right time, tickets were gone within 10 seconds on 2 separate tries). We booked this “tour” through Viator so we could ensure we could actually get a chance to visit the memorial on our visit to Oahu. Our 4 tickets (my husband, myself, and my 2 children) were 4 of 15 total tickets listed at the top of our passes. This means that Viator reserved these tickets in bulk (again, for free) and then sold them out at astronomical prices. The “tour” we purchased was a guy in a van picking us up at a hotel, driving us 20 minutes to the memorial (where parking is, again, free, anyway) leaving us there to do the boat ride over to the Arizona, then picking us up 2 hours later and driving us back to our pick-up spot. The driver did share some interesting facts with us along the way about downtown Honolulu and Waikiki, and drove us around some to interesting buildings in the area (so I don’t put this on the driver at all - he was great. My beef is with Viator). I’m grateful we got to see the memorial, but angry that it took this much money to do so, and that Viator contributes to the problem.
