The PistachioLand tour offers a ride on a 14 passenger electric vehicle through the pistachio orchards and vineyards. This is a working farm where pistachios and wine grapes are produced, and wine and candy is also produced on-site. Free samples of nuts and wine are available in the gift shop. Although you can walk-in to purchase a $2 ticket, booking guarantees a seat unless canceled for weather. Risks: Open air vehicle exposed to weather, wildlife and farm operations. Tour vehicle travels on a bumpy, gravel road. Pets are not allowed on tour due to insurance requirements. Waivers required from each guest. Must be seated on the vehicle 15 minutes prior to departure.

We are from Texas, so Bucee’s is our standard for snack stops and my husband loves pistachios, so this was on the list. PistachioLand didn’t disappoint. They have a great selection of snacks and regional food items. The pistachio tasting station was the best part of the snacks/regional foods and they have a great selection at decent prices so you can take a few varieties home with you. But, what we really enjoyed was the farm tour. Our guide, James, is great and made it a fun tour for our family. Don’t be discouraged if Tripadvisor says the tickets are sold out, go to the main counter and they were only a couple dollars per person. If you have time to take the tour, it’s really interesting to learn about pistachios, their wine making and this region!

Trip advisor charged us 2.5 times the amount for the Pistachio tour. We got there and saw that the tour only cost $2, after I paid $5 per person on Trip Advisor. I didn’t realize when I looked it up that it took me to their site to get the tickets. That’s just not right.

Thank you for visiting our farm! Yes, booking through Trip Advisor is more expensive than walking in; however, on some days tours are sold out all day. It is good to try to reserve ahead during busy holidays. We hope the tour was fun, and that you enjoyed the farm.

Just visited PistashioLand and took a tour of the pistachio and grape/wine ranch. Took the last tour of the day - a weekday- so we were the only ones. Sam, our guide, could answer every question we threw at her. Also, the facts she shared with us were all well presented and fun to learn. Great job. The store is spacious and interesting offering samples so you could buy what you liked for sure. I expected touristy, but it was much classier. The service was especially personal. I had asked an esoteric question about ordering something online and using the free shipping coupon and the cashier wasn’t sure of the answer to my question. However as I walked in from the tour, Valerie met me at the door to help me with my question. The cashier had found her - the online expert who could help me with my question!
