Joe covers a few city blocks, in under an hour, but that is one fascinating hour. He tells the story of Stonewall Inn, Julius's, and other sites in a way that makes them part of a unique landmark event in LGBTQ+ civil rights history, ties it in with Black civil rights history, and connects them to American and world history (again, all of this within an hour and a few city blocks). If you are just visiting NYC for the first time like me, and/or have not brushed up on your US LGBTQ+ history, this is a great place to start. Out of all the neighborhoods I saw in my visit, this was the first one that really came alive for me.
