Pride Tours NYC’s walking tour is an NYC Pride Partner. Take the most comprehensive tour in New York City that narrates the history of the Stonewall Uprising and the rise of our modern day LGBTQ Pride Movement. This tour starts in Christopher Park, and stops at The Stonewall Inn, and all other sites of LGBTQ historical significance - all while your tour guide narrates the account of the history of our LGBTQ community before the uprising, the account of The Stonewall Uprising, the history of the immediate aftermath, and the rise of Pride! A portion of all of the proceeds of this tour are donated to Heritage of Pride.

What To Expect

Christopher Park

You will meet your tour guide at Christopher Park. Your tour guide will narrate the overview of LGBTQ history in the USA and New York City leading up to the Stonewall Uprising.

The Stonewall Inn

At The Stonewall Inn, your tour guide will narrate the account of the early morning hours of June 28th 1969 at The Stonewall Inn/Greenwich Village and the immediate days that followed, the account of The Stonewall Uprising.

Gay Street

At the Gay Street sign, your tour guide will narrate the history of this sign.

Booked this walking tour ($30 plus tax per person) and we were so glad we did. It told us some stuff we already knew but so much stuff we didn't. Our tour guide was amazing - entertaining, knowledgeable and happy to take photos of us in key spots. There were a few people on the tour who were not interested and almost ruined it for those of us who were, but our tour guide handled it brilliantly. This tour starts in the Christopher Street park and ends at the Stonewall Inn, so the perfect opportunity to go grab a drink afterwards. Loved it.

Educational and entertaining. Learned a lot about the history and emotional journey of the LGBTQ community in New York and the emergence and relevance of PRIDE Tour guide was exceptional.
