My wife and I along with two other couples had a 7 hour charter with Captain Mike a few days ago. He started us out salmon fishing. It didn't take long for the fish to start biting. All six of us landed a nice size salmon and we added a small rock fish. Then we headed to deeper water for halibut. We caught 3 nice ones and a good size rock fish. Captain Mike was really focused on giving us a good experience. He knows his fishing and also knows how to take care of his guests. I would highly recommend him.

My son and I just came back from a salmon fishing trip in Ketchikan. We went out with Captain Mike Fleece -- by far one of the nicest and experienced guides we have met in Alaska. Definitely ask for him if you plan to go fishing -- could not have asked for a better experience. BTW, on our 3 hours we caught a boat load!!!

If you want to walk away from a fishing trip having gone fishing, and meeting one hell of a guy, Mike Fleece is your captain. I've been out with Mike twice now, and it's because of the first trip that I rebooked, as I will continue to do every Ketchikan trip I take in the future. Mike is the nicest guy, he's full of patience, has a big heart, and has the natural ability of making people laugh. One of the most likable people I've EVER encountered. If I was a commercial fishing guide I would strive to be "like Mike." -Chet from Idaho
