Learn more and see things you would never find on your own! Give us 3 hours, and you will learn much more about volcanoes, Hawaii's landscape, native plants, wildlife, and Hawaiian culture. We cannot show you the whole Park in only 3 hours, but we give you several stops to enrich your understanding and immerse your senses.

We created this activity to make learning about volcanoes budget and family-friendly. There is so much to learn in the park and see, but prioritizing would be challenging if you are alone. Ride along in our Mercedes van and see video footage of past eruptions. This tour is customized to your group's walking speed and interests.

After your tour with us, all the formations on the Big Island will make sense. Contact us for peak season dates.

This experience was awesome! Our family of four (2 adults, 2 teens) highly recommends it! Our guide, Rob, was so knowledgeable and engaging. You could tell you truly cared about our experience and wanted us to get the most out of our time together. Plus, he took so many great photos that he shared with us. The van was comfortable and the places he took us to were great. Zero complaints, we highly recommend this experience.

Our view of the Big Island completely changed after Rob taught us all about aa and pahoehoe lava. Kilauea was getting ready to erupt the day we visited, and he promised to text us if it happened before we left the Big Island. When it erupted that night, he did! (Sadly, we weren't able to make it, but we were grateful he remembered.) We applied our newly acquired knowledge many times on the hike we took following our tour. It was absolutely worth the money and time. Mahalo nui loa, Rob!
