So, I am not a person who likes to write bad reviews, normally I just write reviews when I really love something, and when I would like to recommend something, because everyone has different opinions, but in this case I would have liked to know before, that this tour is an absolute waste of money. If you have a car: do this tour by yourself instead of spending over 1000 USD for this tour. it is absolutely not worth it. The purpose of booking this 4x4 Hummer Tour was to have a guided tour so we would not loose time searching for places (we had only one entire day to explore Yosemite), to receive lots of insider information from a local during this tour us, and to go in a 4x4 Hummer (what seemed pretty interesting for our teens). The Hummer was replaced by a GMC the day before our tour (ok, no problem), the only info we received was that Barack Obama and Oprah visited the park recently (amazing info… we ended up telling her about the history and Natives of this park and she found it really interesting), and the places we visited were just half of the places that were mentioned in the tour description (at least we could step out the car sometimes to take a picture when we asked for it, or when our tour guide (who was so great that we forgot her name before we got back to our hotel) wanted us to form a Y with our arms as a family so she could take a picture of us for her records to show how much fun we had); but the “real highlight” of our 1 day 4x4 Hummer Tour was when she dropped us off at Glacier Point for a “beautiful hike” down to the Valley (with 5 water bottles and a lunchbox): to be fair: it was not mandatory to hike, she only highly recommended this hike (even after letting her know that my husband has back problems), it was our own decision to go, but had we known that you need hiking equipment instead of sandals for this walk and that the walk to reach the valley took us almost 5 hours (which was about 3/4th of our entire tour time) and that we made it to the finish line with blisters, scratch wounds and completely exhausted and dehydrated due to the 110 degrees that day, we would have never taken this decision. The park is one of the most beautiful parks we have seen, great photo opportunities, amazing and. Unique spots; but go by yourself. Don’t waste your money by booking this tour. And my recommendation to the tour company: get some tour guides with some knowledge about the area and who really like to work with tourists and do not just perform like a taxi driver.

GMC is a brand new 2021 vehicle with panaromic sunroof a Denali model which is an upgrade to older Hummer. We offer that if is available at no extra charge to you The hike is Strenuous and that is explained to guests by all guides. The decision to hike or not is up to the guests. Please let us know which day your tour was we can find out who the guide was and we will take appropriate action.

Wow! Ask for Mr. Daniel when you get the chance. He is a wealth of knowledge and does his very best to get your group the best possible scenery. We were at the foothills of Yosemite Falls! Taught us history of the area and shared wonderful memories with the family. Highly recommend. The private tour was worth every penny!
