Had 2 great days out on the water with Jason on a recent trip to California. He was accomodating, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, but most importantly, he was an amazing instructor. Learning to surf had always been on my 'bucket list' but I was a bit afraid to try again after a bad experience in Australia. With a strong emphasis on safety, and his quick technique tips in the water, I was up catching waves not long into my first lesson. I was hooked, and had to come back for a second lesson. His obvious passion for the sport, and love of the water translate directly into the care and time he takes with each student. You will not be disappointed.

Took my kids surfing for the first time in Huntington Beach. I wanted them to get the most out of their lessons so I decided to get them private lessons. There are lots of surf schools and instructors but the hotel recommended Jason at Learn to Surf. He provided an instructor for every two kids. As the lesson went on I watched other surf classes and instructors with their large groups and saw little progress. In an hour, every person in the family had caught a wave. By the end of the second hour, we all were surfing and catching waves on our own. The personal attention we received by a highly skilled group of instructors made this experience phenomenal. I would recommend no other business than learn to surf for a family.

After being stood up by an instructor, I grabbed Jason's card at Russell's board shop. The highest level of professionalism and water safety instruction I have ever experienced. My 2 hour lesson altered years of incorrect muscle memory and habits I had acquired. Thank you Jason, my family and I will be looking forward to working with you again next year.
