Pier A Park
Hoboken has transformed its former industrial piers into beautiful parks and promenades, with some bars and restaurants located immediately adjacent to the southern walkway. Hoboken is the birthplace of baseball, Frank Sinatra, and the zipper; key player in American wars, immigration, and industrialization; and former home to some of the 20th century's most advanced shipyards and factories, including Maxwell House, Lipton Tea and Tootsie Roll. We’ll discuss this history during our time together, and for guests who want to learn even more, we can stop by Hoboken’s quaint historical museum. (Please note that the museum is only open in the afternoon, and it is closed on Mondays. The $5 entry fee is not included in the tour.)
5
Stevens Institute of Technology

We had a really great time on our tour of Hoboken. It’s a whole different atmosphere from NYC while still keeping the charm of the city lifestyle. Greg showed us that the area is steeped in history while still being a popular, thriving neighbourhood today. Greg was very knowledgeable, kind and accommodating. I would thoroughly recommend the experience!

My 17 year old daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3-hour Hoboken Walking Tour with Greg. Hoboken is a beautiful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of New York, offering a different insight and experience. The tour also means you tick off another US State! The views across to Manhattan are simply breathtaking! We learnt a lot about the area from Greg - he was extremely knowledgeable and informative. The tour would be accessible for younger children too. One or more stops can be made enroute to suite group needs. We really enjoyed our coffees and fresh pastries in one of the many cafes in the area. I had some questions after booking about our NYC adventure and Greg was responsive and so helpful. Highly recommend this tour - which is only half a mile from Manhattan!

Greg was an awesome tour guide during our first time exploring Hoboken. He was easy to locate with his yellow hat! He was loaded with information, fun facts and history! He let us know he was very passionate about Hoboken and it clearly showed. He even had many notes in his pocket so he wouldn't forget to tell us as much as we wanted to hear. We met him at 2 and he stayed with us till after 5 because wanted to catch our train home. He would have kept going! Oh by the way, he was also our personal photographer too!!!!
