Частное фотосафари на диких лошадях из Туэле

Обзор
The drive from Tooele to the Onaqui HMA will take approximately 45 minutes & once we arrive at the range, there are various locations where we will begin to look for the herd grazing, resting or coming to/from the watering holes. Depending on where the horses are located, there will be walking involved, so close toed shoes are required, and dressing in layers is also recommended.

During your time in the field you will receive one on one photography instruction to help you improve your technical skills as well as your ability to creatively frame an image. Achieving beautiful wildlife photographs is about more than just being in the right place at the right time, it's about seeing the possibilities of the scene unfolding in front of you through the lens. Please bring your cell phone and/or camera but no external light sources or drones.

Detailed info. about the individual horses, families and herds is also provided throughout our time on the range.

Min age is 10 years old.

Amazing day watching and photographing these wild horses. We had a wonderful experience with Jen. She has an in-depth knowledge of these horses, their personalities and daily habits (and her photography skills are awesome as well). She loves the horses like her own. We were positioned to not only get some great photos but watched their interactions with each other from a safe distance. Cannot recommend it enough. The horses are beautiful and Jen’s personality and friendliness was icing on the cake! Would definitely do it again.

This is such an amazing experience. The horses were incredible. The weather was perfect. Jen was very knowledgeable and professional. Her warmth and thoughtfulness made the safari even more special! We had storm forecast on the day, so Jen and I decided to head out earlier in the day. We were so lucky. It was cool in the mountains and the storm clouds provided the most magical backdrop. Knowing their habits and favorite water holes, Jen anticipated the whereabouts of the North herd and quickly tracked down the South herd. A few quiet moments with a light drizzle, then we started having more actions and movements, with the horses sparring, teasing and playing with each other. Jen would strategically reposition us while keeping a respectful distance to make sure we get the optimal angles. She gave amazing tips on lighting and positioning for the best backgrounds. I got so many amazing photos. Throughout the safari, Jen would share about the horses and her stories with them. She knows everything about the herd, each individual member and their personality, the herd's dynamics, social structure, history, etc. She literally can answer any questions you have! Because of Jen's perfect timing, we left the Onaqui Mountains just as the storm hit. The landscape under looming dark clouds was just unreal. Jen made stops so we could photograph it and gave excellent tips on the composition. If you like the wilderness and horses, you cannot miss this safari. Make sure to check Jen’s website - much more information there!

Even on one of the hottest days of the Summer, I had an extraordinary time visiting the Onaqui herd in their home. For wild horse lovers and wildlife photographers, this is a rare opportunity to maximize your experience. Jen Rogers is extremely knowledgeable about this herd, their dynamics, their whereabouts, and habits. She knows the individual characteristics of each horse on the range! Your time spent with her will be well worth the investment, as she not only takes you to locations, but shares her knowledge of each horse you encounter. She has created a field guide that illustrates each horse, to help identify and watch for while out on the range. If you have a visit with the Onaqui on your bucket list, and aren't sure about the best way to go about seeing them, or your time is limited, booking a tour with Jen is certainly a good way to maximize your experience!
