River Tubing & Kayaking

Spend the afternoon floating along the beautiful Waccamaw River on an inflatable river tube or kayak. Bring some food and drinks (or grab some from our Snack Shack) to take with you on your trip to explore the river. Pull over on one of the white sandy beaches to enjoy some fun in the sun and take a dip in the refreshing cool river.

When you arrive at our Outpost you will find:
- Fun and games: enjoy our unique super sized yard games: Jenga, Connect 4, Corn Hole and more.
- Amenities: 4 restrooms, 4 changing rooms with hot showers, hammocks, swings, large fire pit, picnic tables and propane grills that are available for you to use.

Your reservation time will be from 2 pm - 5 pm, feel free to enjoy the full 3 hours on the river and at our facility or arrive anytime during those hours but keep in mind we do close at 5 pm.

Our family visited River Island Adventures during our stay in the Conway/Myrtle Beach Area. We were not sure quite what to expect with this new experience. We have read the online reviews and researched it a bit before committing to a reservation. We had a blast! The best part of River Island Adventures is that you can try all the water activities you never had the chance to do. We went tubing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Our children enjoyed a little swim in the river, and we had fun playing a variety of games they have available on site such as ladder ball. The staff was excellent. They were extremely helpful, did not judge our ineptness with kayaking at first, and were always concerned with our safety. They have a small snack bar available but we brought our lunch and had a nice family picnic in their gaming area. They have picnic tables and grills available as well. The only “con” for us was the weather during the afternoon. Unfortunately, they had to close due to the storms in the area. However, the staff contacted the owner/manager and we were provided a refund for the time we could not use, which was extremely considerate of them. We will definitely return to River Island Adventures. Our family had an amazing time and the atmosphere is relaxed. Make sure you make reservations as only so many slots are available each day. We look forward to returning during our next visit to the area.

My family and I had a blast at River Island Adventures tubing and kayaking! We paddled down the River then floated back. We beached an on island and ate lunch we brought along in a floating cooler. We also played games. I highly recommend for a summer fun filled day!
