Our tour guide, Alec, was amazing! From the time he picked us up to the drop off time, he was first class on every turn. He showed us the exclusive spots on the road to Hana and was a true gentleman with assisting us with our disabled daughter getting to/from the hidden treasures that lie off the beaten path. In addition to seeing beautiful waterfalls, bamboo forest, and eating banana bread, Alec was very knowledgeable about Maui's culture and shared his own humble life story with our family. He even shared a secret on how to get rid of tourists when you want to capitalize on a photo opportunity. "Just ask the tourist if they'd like their picture taken". They leave the area once their photo is taken. Alec took photos and recorded the trip for our delight at home. His calm and cool demeanor assured us that we were going to have the time of our lives. We recommend this tour to anyone who feels adventurous and wants to take scenic photographs to cherish for a lifetime. When in Maui, take the scenic route and don't forget to ask for Alec the Great!

Our friends did the jeep tour with Alec and loved it so much that they gave it to us as a wedding gift. We will pass the tradition on! Alec picked us up right on time in front of our hotel. The jeep was in the shop, so we have an enclosed SUV, but it didn't matter. We still had a great time. Alec takes you to places that the regular tourist could never find. Your safety and experience is his top priority. It's a full service tour! He takes video of the best points of the trip, provides commentary, puts it onto a DVD and mails it to your house. He will also take various picture throughout the tour. I highly recommend Alec for a real look at the amazing trails, bamboo forests, waterfalls and locally made Hawaiian banana bread and ice cream on the road to Hana.

I booked the jungle tour based on the other great reviews I read about alec and words cannot express how thankful I am that I went this route! He was prompt on time to pick us up for the day and we loved riding around top down in the 4x4 jeep. We ate the best little on the go breakfast and began our tour of hana hwy. He shaped the day around our preferences and made sure to get tons of video and pix for us so it would be a trip to remember. Most valuable to me was when my bf asked him to take us to a special spot and told alec he would be proposing..... we went to a place I will never forget and alec was camera ready as I was shocked when the question was popped right under the waterfall! I will forever have this video to play for my family, friends and future kids and it was so personalized and candid which makes it even better! Alec- seriouslt you are the best and I will never forget you, javy and I cannot thank you enough for showing us what life is all about ~ if we ever go back we will definitely do this again!
