We had an amazing day on the Arkansas river through the Royal Gorge. Our raft guide Chip had a great command of the raft ensuring we had a safe but fun and exciting experience. We plan on going next June when the river is at its peak.

This was my first time whitewater rafting. My friend and I had the best time. Our guide, Chip, was very knowledgeable about the river and its history. He also cracked a few jokes along the way. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. The scenery was so beautiful. Next time I will book the dull day trip, if not an overnighter.

Small business that is competent. The place has parking hidden in the back and not well marked, and the plane is not fancy, but the guide was very good. Spouse was really frightened after reading the other review but we decided to do the royal gorge trip... The more difficult one. We are active 60-yr-olds and found that it was easy and fun.... Not scary like other reviews although they probably had a harder experience due to higher water at the time. The first week of September is the last raft trip for the season and it was perfect. It's got some level 4's but there are ample slow breaks in between. Fun trip.
