Our Sonoma Coast Kayak Tour takes you to the edge of the beautiful Pacific Ocean where we explore the Russian River as it meets the sea. Birds, seals, the occasional passing whale, and relaxing on the river are the highlights of this great day on the water. Expect to spend approximately 2.5 hours on this tour which includes paddling the river and walking on the beach while gazing out on the Pacific Ocean.

Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.
Please bring water shoes or sandals.
We will get wet. Bring clothes you won't mind getting wet and consider bringing a change of clothes.
The weather at the coast can change quickly. Please bring an extra layer in case it is a bit chilly. It's better to have more clothes than you need rather than wish you had an extra layer.
Due to Covid-19 we are unable to supply food or beverages. If you would like lunch during or after your tour please feel free to bring something to enjoy or your guide can recommend some of our fantastic local cafes or restaurants.

It was so easy to just show up and be ready to go. We had a perfect day. Saw seals and lots of birds. Erik gave us a little history of the Russian River. Thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommend. One note...we did not have cell service while in Jenner, so be sure you have your GPS directions ready ahead of time.

I highly recommend taking this tour with Erik! If for no other reason than he is one of the kindest people I have encountered on this trip and extremely knowledgeable about the area, the history of the Russian River and the wildlife around. That aside, the River itself has so much to offer by way of wildlife including several different species of birds, and the harbor seals are in abundance. We started the morning off not particularly sure it was a good idea to continue on with the tour because it was a historic morning for California... the day the sky turned orange and everyone thought the apocalypse was upon us. Lol. Upon arrival (a few minutes late) Erik, greeted us and reassured us that while the sky looks like it was the beginning to the end of the world it would be a great experience nonetheless. The River was calm and not another sole to be found which made for the most amazing experience. The seals were especially curious since there were not a lot of other people on the water that day. Erik has a ‘go with the flow’ personality, allowing us the time and space to really enjoy the special moments. To our surprise, later on that evening Erik sent some personalized photos he took while we were on the water. I can’t thank you enough, Erik! It was truly exactly what we needed at that moment to bring us back to center. Cheers! Carrie and Amanda

Erik was amazing. We went with our 2 kids and loved the experience. We were able to see seals in the water just a few feet away from us.
