Glad I booked this tour for the morning. I am a native Californian and knew about the fault but never had the opportunity to understand and view the geological ramifications! Cheyenne- was very knowledge and we enjoyed tasting, touching and experience the canyon and plant life. The oasis was such a surprise and learning about Palm Trees was a bonus. Appreciate the dessert much more and have so much respect and enthusiasm for recommending this tour and this business. Definitely worth the money and time.

The guide was funny, friendly, knowledgeable about the geology, history of the places we toured, and the earth in this fault zone is like nowhere else, really other worldly. I would recommend this for everyone, young and old. Some kids on our tour were thrilled when they picked up a rock and a scorpion crawled out.

Wow, the tour was more fun and interesting than I ever expected! Our tour guide, Carlene, was so nice and knowledgeable and took special care of us. Whether this is your first trip to the desert or you live here full time, I recommend taking this tour which takes you off the beaten path. We learned about the Cahuilla Indians, the fault line, various desert plants, water usage, animals, utility companies and development of the railroad. We also learned a little about old Hollywood and how Palm Springs became a hotspot for getaways. The ride in the jeep was safe and enjoyable. We were offered cold beverages although you may bring your own. We also packed a small lunch cooler with sandwiches which fit comfortable under our seats. Good idea to wear a hat and sunscreen as always when enjoying outdoors in the desert. Thank you, Carlene for a wonderful day!
