My husband and I just tour the Fire Engine tour and found it to be the best tour San Francisco has to offer. Marilyn and Robert are the greatest people and you can tell just how much they love their city and what they're doing. We had the most fun of anything we have ever done in San Francisco during our three visits. We had so much fun we have been telling everyone about the tour. WONDERFUL, FABULOUS, OUTSTANDING!! We were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary and they made us feel very special.

While looking for things to do that both my little girl and I would enjoy I ran across the Fire Engine Tours. A big shiny red convertible fire engine.....now that is something that both kids and dads can love! Marilyn and Robert are total professionals that banter with everyone while giving insights that will impress both tourists and locals. I have a convertible sports car that I have driven across the Golden Gate Bridge countless times and I love it. It is something I do with my friends that visit us from around the country and from around the world. But going across the Golden Gate Bridge on the convertible fire engine was the best. And having the big fire coats and hats to wear for everyone made it even more special. But do not think you need to have a kid to enjoy this. Like I said, touring around SF in a mint condition convertible fire engine and going through the Presidio, Golden Gate Bridge, the Marina, etc is some of the best fun you will ever have in San Francisco.

Although a little on the pricey side, this is a great way to take a tour of San Francisco and learn a little bit about the history of this great city. The tour starts near Fisherman's Wharf aboard a 1955 open air fully restored and priviately owned fire engine. Captain Robert and his wife, Marilyn make the tour so much fun. Marilyn has such an enthusiastic personality with lots of energy and excitment that really is the heart and soul of the tour. They are safety concious and make sure their "crew" is comfortable during the ride across the Golden Gate Bridge. She really makes the trip worth the money. They also stop along the way so that Marilyn can use your camera and take photos of your party with the fire engine. GIve them a try. We have taken the tour twice and have enjoyed it tremendously both times.
