On our Secret Food Tour: San Francisco, the Mission District, you'll see how immigrants shaped the neighborhood by creating brilliant artwork, beautiful architecture and sharing their fantastic food! Originally home to Irish, German, and Italian immigrants, it is now the epicenter of San Francisco's Latino culture.

The Mission District is full of vibrant murals that offer a visual history lesson featuring themes ranging from cultural heritage to social-political statements. We will take a stroll through the neighborhood to get an up-close experience.

Our tours are more than just the food. Our local guides connect the dots between history, culture, and cuisine to provide you with a deep understanding of the Mission District's thriving culinary scene!

This is a terrific tour and a great way to experience San Fran and the Mission. Charlotte is a fantastic guide who lead us on a great tasting adventure through the city. She easily accommodated my vegetarian needs and made sure I got as many tasty bites as everyone else. I would highly recommend this tour!

This was my first food tour in the Mission District (I am a long time San Francisco resident). I left knowing more about this great neighborhood than any book could have given me. Charlotte, our tour guide, brought it to life with her enthusiasm and knowledge of this diverse area and its people. The tour flew by with delicious food, wine and conversation. I cannot recommend this tour and Charlotte's "insider" highlights highly enough!

Charlotte gave us a full taste of the mission district. She did an excellent job of hitting the high points of this area. There was a parade going on while our tour was being held which added more fun to the day. I loved ending in the park with ice cream. The variety of food was perfect.......awesome tour!!!
