savannah Bonaventure cemetery is a beautiful cemetery. and the best way to see, understand, learn, is from a historian of this cemetery with passion. and we were able to really step into a different era and learn so many things we wouldn't have know if we just walked on our own. so unique, the beautiful Tiffany stained glass in the mosoleum, explanation of the death bell, and seeing it, Johnny mercers grave, his story. walking thru, learning about the cemetery stones, just a lot of interesting facts, and beautiful surroundings that went along with it. be sure to do this tour, you'll be glad you did.

Truly feel complimented by you for your generous statements. Glad you noted the details that you did! Bonaventure and other Victorian cemeteries are very much like cities with their own architecture and nuances of not just death, but life and it does take a trained person to identify these aspects so all the more our appreciation for your patronage but review! Please tell others!
