We do a food tour in almost every city that we visit and this was BY FAR the worst! The first stop - shrimp and grits was cold. 2nd stop - she crab soup was also cold and had NO crab and NO taste. The 3rd stop - sausage pie was ok but the whole setup was disorganized and not very appetizing or appealing. 4th stop - prohibition museum - the food they give you was disgusting. Tiny little bits of nothing - why bother. 5th stop - shepherds pie also disgusting! Last stop - a few tastes of honey on a spoon. Really? Is that food??? Every food tour we’ve done until this one leaves you stuffed! This one leaves you wondering where you’re going to go for dinner now! Also, even though our guide was nice and seemed knowledgeable, there was not really much good history or info given about Savannah. A little bit but not what I would have expected. This was a total waste of money. There are so many amazing restaurants here and the ones they picked for the tour were terrible choices. Our guide even said so many restaurants come to them requesting to be part of the tour and these are what they decided to include?? Awful!!

Having spoken to your tour guide, we are perplexed that you did not take her up on the offer to correct any issues as they occurred; instead opting to not mention any issue along the way and writing a mostly anonymous review. Clearly our ten years of running this food tour route and amassing several national and international awards and 5-star average would not have occurred had your experience been anywhere near a common one. We only wished you had informed us of your feelings in real-time when we had the opportunity to correct and prove to you just how great our tours are. We hope you enjoy future food tours in other cities (and take them up on their offers to correct any lapse in quality in real-time).

The food was delicious and Brenden (tour guide) was phenomenal. The only criticism that I have was one of our stops was at a Speak Easy, and the food was really bad. I understand it was for the experience of the Speak Easy, but it is a food tasting tour. Will definitely experience other tours from this company next time traveling through Savannah.
