Excellent walking and tasting tour with Victoria today. All the food tastes were excellent and historical and contextual information was interesting. My only reservation is that not all the tastes are native to Savannah or the South. A sausage roll at an English pub and cottage pie at a Scottish pub, while tasty, aren’t typical southern fare. Why not add fried green tomatoes and pralines to the shrimp and grits, she-crab soup, and local honey?

Thank you for your feedback! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your experience. We would like to further offer a brief explanation to readers of your review that we do offer Fried Green Tomatoes and Pralines on our Southern Fried Expectations Food Tour - a tour designed to highlight guests' expectations of what southern food is - in contrast to the tour you took (First Squares Food Tour), which is designed to highlight the actual historical and award-winning foods of our specific city. We hope that clarifies the distinction between those two tours for future guests and apologize that wasn't made clear to you before you partook in the experience. We hope to see y'all on another deliciously fun food tour soon. Cheers, Stu C., Co-Founder

This was the best food tour I've ever been on. It was supposed to be 3 hours, but the tour guide took her time and made sure we were all taken care of. It was about 3.5 hours! The food was amazing. The history and guide were so friendly. I would like to have a full meal with our guide Kellee, she was just the type of person I'd like to hang out with!

Great experience for the food, with some history of the city as well! Definitely felt full after sampling all the places. Drinks were able to be ordered at a few places as well. Overall a great experience! Our tour guides were great as well!
