So here's the brass tax: Katie don't mess around. Not that she doesn't like to have fun, because she totally does. And she knows this stuff so well that she's able to be relaxed and friendly while she walks sideways and backwards down the sidewalks of Savannah leading your tour. But her main asset, in my opinion, is how true she is to the facts.
Katie is a true historian. She doesn't sensationalize or take liberties with the more exciting/popular aspects of the town's tales. AKA ghost stories and sex scandals, etc.
She tells it like it is. And I, for one, truly appreciate the honesty and rigor with which she adheres to the histories and traditions, as they really were, and are. Enjoy!
