If you’re looking for a Savannah tour that is a little different, this is your best bet! Shannon Scott leads a tour that is delightfully insightful into the more sordid tales of Savannah, centered around the cemetery. He is incredibly knowledgeable, an expert and historian in his field, who delves under the skin of Savannah’s more colorful characters throughout time. Milton Bradley was a favorite! The tour was intimate as well, for Shannon has known many of the more interesting folk in Savannah. If you’re into the more esoteric arts, you’ll find plenty of that on this tour as well. Unfortunately, my friends and I tried to brave the 38 degree weather, but we succumbed to the prospect of indoor heating, and left early. As we drove home, we mused, I wonder what story Shannon is telling now? One friend said, “I have FOMO (fear of missing out) right now.” Once the weather warms up, we will go on any tours led by Shannon, a vivid, yet pragmatic, storyteller.
