For $50 a person, I feel that this experience was not worth it. Our family’s biggest issues were the employees’ disorganization and how short the actual ride was. Our guide’s oar broke while we were in the river and no other employees came to his rescue, making for a few very scary minutes. The ride itself was definitely shorter than the two hours advertised, and we did not get the history of the river and park that we were promised. We also had concerns that none of the shared equipment (vests, shoes, etc.) was sanitized considering we saw them being tossed back into the large pile at the end of our trip.
We wanted to float down the Yellowstone River, and we did that. But that was all we did. There wasn’t a whole lot more to the experience. We bought these tickets based on all the positive TripAdvisor posts we had seen, and sadly, we feel we were let down.
