The colonial home of Betsy and her first husband, and their first floor shop. We talk about the creation of the first flag.

This is a plaza on the site of the home where William Penn lived. he is the founder of Philadelphia, and we talk about who he was and how his philosophy of governing influenced our Founding Fathers.

Rocky Statue

Enjoyed our 3 hour tour with Lois. She grew up in Philly and had lots of great information & insights in the area. It was a combination of driving and walking. Saw all the major historical sights and drove around different areas of the city. It was a great introduction to Philadelphia since I had never been before. Highly recommend this experience.

Lois was knowledgeable and patient as we were slower with a wheelchair. The history of Philly was very interesting. Seeing the historic buildings helps the history come to life. Thank you.
