This is the only shark tour in the USA and to our knowledge the only tour where guests do not get in the water to view the sharks. Delight in close-up views of sharks and a variety of other marine life. In this eco-friendly catamaran, travel through shallow waters to a location a few miles from shore, observing dolphins, stingrays, barracudas and native birds along the way. Saw so many sharks. It honestly blew my mind. They were lemon sharks, and we watched them feed on fish dangling from the back of the boat. I’m 43 years old and I’m hard pressed to think of any cooler natural phenomenon that I’ve seen in my life. The water was beautiful. It was a very windy day, and I got splashed multiple times by waves during the trip, so dress with that in mind. The captains were funny and kind. I learned a lot about sharks from them. For instance, did you know they can go 6 weeks without eating? Sharks aren’t these ravenous monsters searching the waters for things to eat and people to kill. In fact, your safer in the water with a bunch of sharks than you are standing in front of an angry raccoon that you caught going through your garbage cans. Anyways, sharks are friends, the captains are cool, the boat ride is gorgeous and the whole experience was amazing.
