Cahaba Brewing Company

We will stop at 3 of the breweries listed.Cahaba quickly outgrew our first location in Birmingham’s Pepper Place/Lakeview district. A few years later, in January 2016, we moved our 3 barrel homebrew project to East Avondale and upgraded to a 30 barrel brewhouse. Cahaba is currently located in a 51,000 square foot building in the Historical Continental Gin Complex. Our spacious Taproom has quickly become one of Birmingham’s favorite spots. With over 26 taps, our Taproom has awesome Cahaba staples like Blonde, Oka Uba, Pale Ale, and Lager, while also sporting Pilot Batch and Taproom-only offerings.

What a wonderful time! Dustin & Scottie are the most genuine & kind people you could meet! They provide a fun & comfortable atmospheret in which to learn about beer, local breweries & history too! Put this tour on your list of things to-do in Birmingham!

I had an incredible time on the Sips of Birmingham Tour. Our guide, Dustin, made it very entertaining and insightful. We had a wide range of beer lovers participating and even a person that doesn't drink- there's something for everyone on this tour! I especially enjoyed getting to go behind the scenes in breweries that I frequent over the weekends. I had such a great time and was sad when it was time to say goodbye! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an interactive (very tasty!), informative, and fun way to explore Birmingham!

City brew tour Birmingham made for a fun Saturday night! We took our son for a 21st birthday celebration. Dustin was our beer guide and he was great! We learned about the beer making process while sampling a variety of excellent local brews at Cahaba, Good People and Trim Tab. We look forward to returning to these breweries and checking out some new ones on another tour.
