Informative guide Yvonne. Very helpful & friendly. A small group tour is the way to go. It was relaxing being transported in a small van & seeing & learning as much as we did because of keeping the group on the smaller side

We were very disappointed in the state of the pen that the Bears are kept in. They were terribly dirty, totally in disarray, and it was just sad. We know they were orphan cubs because of their mother, getting in trouble, and the state of Alaska will keep them in captivity for the rest of their lives. But the state of Alaska should really try to keep them in a nicer living area.

Larry was a great driver and guide. His pride of Sitka was heartwarming. He made sure we learned all about Sitka, the town, the people, and the history. The Fortress of the Bear was fascinating. Not to mention, the bears were very fun to watch.
