We spent about 41/2 hours here. We took our time and looked at most everything. I recommend getting the free audio guide. There are many short audio stories at displays, working areas of the ship, and most aircraft on the flight deck. We sat for 30 minutes and listened to a retired pilot. He was very interesting. We ate at the Cafe 41 and we're impressed at how good the food was. I had the fish tacos. We went on a Sunday, probably one of the busier days, a lot of people but it wasn't too crowded at all. There is a parking lot next to the ship.

This was easily the best Museum experience I’ve ever had. The facility was beautiful, clean, and had me in awe at every turn. All of the docent’s were kind, generous with their time and had incredible stories that made the experience even richer. Little tip - when you go, be sure to strike up conversations with the docent’s working there! They have amazing first hand stories that bring so much depth to the experience. My entire family loved it - there truly is something for everyone to enjoy here!

No lines, no waiting to get in. USS Midway tour is worth the price of admission. Can extend to one extra free day, too. Just visit the information desk on the way out.
