Обзор

You enter the water and, after a short surface swim, descend on a condemned pier that has transformed into a vibrant reef. Schools of fish surround the wreckage that has accumulated colorful corals and sponges.

Turtles swim all around in organized chaos as you search for camouflaged frogfish, making it hard to decide where to look. You follow your instructor as they lead you through the obstacle course of the wreck, swimming under and through the old dock where you spot a pregnant reef shark resting under a section of cement and pause to admire her beauty. As you make your way back to your starting point you focus on the multitude of turtles that gracefully soar through the clear water.

My husband and I did the Mala Wharf shore dive with Abby, we experienced top notch service and professionalism. Abby did not cut corners when it comes to safety, and she was attentive and had a fun personality. The dive itself was amazing. So many turtles!! We would not hesitate to return, I wish we had another day of our vacation so we could dive again with them. Highly recommend!

The lovely ladies at Dive Maui were super awesome, incredibly patient and very accommodating. They were helpful and understanding when my mom bowed out and oh so patient with me and my difficulty in completing some of the scuba diving safety requirements. They helped me get through it though and the rest of the session was fun even though I kept getting water in my goggles, bumped into countless coral and needed mad assistance getting myself out of the water at the end. I felt like such a drowned rat but it was worth it. We saw many colorful water life, two crabs snuggled together and part of an octopus peeking from some coral.

It sounds like you had an incredible experience. I am so glad you had such a specialized discovery dive with the help of our instructors. I know diving can be tricky and this was your first dive so it can surely be challenging, but it sounds as if you were cared for and came out successful. Is there a reason we are missing one star on the review other than diving isn't necessarily for you? Please let us know so we can improve.

Very thankful for the truly professional and friendly approach taken on this dive. Scott, our diver master, did and excellent job of introducing the dive, everything from aquatic life to local history. Highly recommend this company and Mala Pier dive. Saw turtles, white tip reef shark and lots o local coral life. Will come again it was worth the walk. :) Chris
