Our guide Steve was terrific. Took us to four small out-of-the-way wineries that were funky and fun. Great stories, excellent wine knowledge. We drank some great wine and had a wonderful day. Would do this again in a heartbeat.

Steve is such a good storyteller that I will sometimes cajole him to tell one at our staff meetings. He's a master. If we could only set him up with a campfire, it would be perfect... I love the review you wrote, as I think it really captures the flavor of our tours. Thanks very much for posting it!

I really enjoyed my Napa Valley Wine Tour with Platypus - our tour guide (Geri) was super friendly and informative. We were able to visit four wineries (to be aware that wineries will usually charge a tasting fee, not included in the tour price), though I did feel a bit wined-out by the end and would have been happy with three! The wineries were all very different and unique, and I would definitely recommend them all for tastings. We also had a great buffet lunch. If you are staying in San Francisco, they will pick you up from the Vallejo ferry terminal which was a super convenient option for me.
