Tina was an excellent tour guide. She took us to some very cool, small wineries where we every tasting was with the actual owner of the winery. Group was really fun. Great introduction to the valley.

This was our first trip to Napa and the choices were overwhelming - we sought ideas from friends and co-workers and had way too many options - so we put our first day in the hands of Platypus Wine Tours-one of the best decisions we've ever made. The wineries were better than amazing, we had access to snacks and water all day (unbelievably important), we had a great picnic lunch and Army (our tour guide) was so fun and knowledgeable. There isn't a single thing we would change about the day and we will make a tour w/ Platypus part of every trip to Napa!

I'm so glad that worked out so well for you, and I agree and admit that this region can be a complex and intimidating place to visit. I designed our tour to be the perfect one-day sampling of the Napa Valley experience to appeal to folks just like you, and it is always gratifying to hear that we made that connection so successfully. And how about that Army Moreno? I hired him twelve years ago (one of my first tour guides), and he has been knocking our guests' socks off ever since! Thank you so much for posting your comments!

If you need a dependable, friendly and exiting company Platupus Wine tours is your ticket. I've done 7 tours with them. I have been to places I would never could imagine by myself. BTheir model is simple but practical. A Commercial winnery, many cases good quality, second a tiny winnery, you probable talk with the owner and winemakers. Third an experimental, grape varieties not comon, and the last one one thats new to all, go figure!
