Our Driver, Dave was very knowledgeable and he made great choices of wineries. It was a beautiful day, despite a little smoke from the terrible fires in Sonoma and we were lucky the other tasters were terrific, fun people. Highly recommend using them for a tour.

We were very lucky and grateful that so many of our winery partners opened their doors to us that week, despite that most of them were without power. I think that speaks to the power of long-standing good relationships, built over many years. Though we had to scramble a bit to replace some winery appointments, in the end we did not have to cancel any tours throughout the fire events. Alison and Jenny and Kristen worked very hard to make that happen, with the help of our dedicated reservation staff, and I appreciate their efforts greatly. Thanks so much for your feedback, Ksebilian; I'm glad you loved Dave and his tour so much!

Gary was a great host. Visited 4 wineries. So beautiful. Each took care to show us their process and gave us several samples. We're generally introverts, but had a great time socializing with the rest of the group. It was so nice to have a driver and be able to focus on the wine and fun. Lunch was ample and amazing. Highly recommended!

I found Platypus Tours through online research . What appealed to me was the small group angle, they picked us up/dropped us off right at our hotel and they choose the wineries-4 small boutique ones. We met such nice, fun people in our group. Total of 12 people from all over the US. The tour guide (Steve) was amazing. Gave great info on the area as we drove through. I would definitely recommend them.

Nobody is a better wine tour guide than is Steve Hunter. He manages to make every single minute of his tours interesting, entertaining and enjoyable.
