I cannot say enough about how amazing our tour was with Platypus Tours! Our tour guide was Rob, and he was phenomenal. Everything from start to finish was so wonderfully planned out and all of the wineries we visited were top-notch. These were places we maybe would’ve have visited on our own, they were awesome! The lunch provided by Rob was AMAZING. I think I had at least two helpings of everything, it was that good. At the end of the tour, Rob dropped my husband and I off in downtown Napa, and we went to have dinner with another couple from our tour. I realized soon that I left my phone on the bus (because.... wine), and Rob hand-delivered my phone to where we were eating. Can’t thank him enough for that. Whenever we’re back in the area, we will DEFINITELY do another Platypus Tour, and even try and get one with Rob. THANK YOU for making my birthday trip memorable.

Hooray, Rob! He really is a first-rate tour guide who always makes the extra effort to make sure his guests have experienced the proper 'wow factor' on their visit to the Napa Valley. All of our guides do this, but none do it better than does Rob. Thanks for commenting on the quality of the wineries he showed you, and on the picnic lunch he served you as well. Awesome trip. Guide was top notch and friendly. The group was small and friendly and the four family wineries that we visited were hospitable and beautiful. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants a full day taste of lovely Napa wine country!!

Our trip with Platypus tour guide and driver, Steve Hunter was, simply put....OUTSTANDING. Steve was extremely knowledgeable, very personable and humorous throughout the day. He selected four excellent wineries and seemed to have a great rapport with the principles at each stop. He also provided very good recommendations for places to dine as well as things to do in the area. We enjoyed our day so much that we are already planning our next trip to NAPA/Sonoma and look forward to partnering up with your team again.

It is very heart-warming for me to read your comments, Kent; I hired Steve over ten years ago and he has been conducting tours for us in just that way this entire time! He is such a pleasure to know and to work with. I think all our guides provide a similar experience for thier guests, but no one is better at it than Steve. In fact, I believe he has helped us shape our culture of tour-guiding excellence. I'm so glad you loved Steve's tour, and I really hope your next visit to our beautiful wine country will be soon!
