We had an absolutely wonderful time on our tour of 5 Napa wineries. Mark was an awesome and fun guide, and took us to really unique wineries. We would definitely do Platypus Tours again with 10 other new friends!

Mark is one cool cucumber. Nothing rattles that guy. He's been touring with us for over eight years, and everyone has always been pleased with him. He knows​ wineries even I have never heard of...

Went wine touring with Platypus and had a great day. Mark was great picked out four smaller winery’s for us to visit. No big bus tours just the 12 of us on our tour. Very well organized company. We even did two cave winery’s which is something different. Mark made a nice picnic lunch for us to enjoy as well. We were with a great group of other guests 2 from Australia, 4 from Europe, 4 Americans and us Canadians. The international group. I would highly recommend this touring company if you like going to smaller winery’s without the crowds. They also chose places were you only pay around 15.00 for tastings. Was a wonderful day

Thanks so much, Cindy! We are often able to get our groups to tour wine caves. It's a really special experience, but two in one day is awesome. Guests who are really interested in this should be sure to ask.

Gary went out of his way to welcome each of us and then introduced us to three boutique wineries. He was knowledgeable, informative and prepared a tasty lunch for our small group ... we had a great time! After our day together, I was ready to tour this beautiful region independently ... thanks for the overview and road map!

Three wineries means you took a private tour with us. On our Join-in tours, we'll always get to four. On private tours though, we can personalize the tour to your preferences and help you craft the perfect day. I agree that starting your visit with a tour is a great way to get your bearings and get some great recommendations as to where to visit on your own the next day.
