We had a group of 12 nice people and our tour guide Chris was just the best. He took us to some very eclectic wineries and we not only tasted some wonderful wines but really learned a lot about the winemaking process. The lunch that Chris put together for us was fantastic - the side of quinoa salad was excellent. He has some really good music going for us too. I would definitely recommend this tour and would do it again.

Our winery stops seemed to be personalized to our diverse group, comfortable "prom bus" as one guest called it! I think there were 12 of us. Great wineries ranged from private family winery to large estate, each of actual winery guides were amazing! Not just tastings but a ton of wine-making education. Picnic lunch and personal service by Kelly our driver/guide was lovely, she is from the area so gave us an extra insider look. Endless water bottle to prevent complete intoxication! Really nice day and great choice for our one day in Napa! Tasting fees of $15 pp at each of the four wineries is paid directly at the wineries, waived if you buy wine.

Tis is the 2nd tour we have taken with Platypus and I thought the first one would be hard to beat but I was wrong. Our tour guide Chris, was knowledgable and friendly and made sure that everyone got to know each other in a fun way. Our group was made up of all ages and came from all over the US, Canada and Germany. By the end of the day we were friends exchanging email addresses and sharing pics. The wineries we visited were welcoming and unpretentious, walking through the vineyards for a tasting rather than sitting in a tasting room was a treat at more than one location. I will continue to recommend Platypus to anyone who visits the wine region. Thanks for an unforgettable day!
