Explore San Diego's hidden gem of snorkeling! Everyone who visits San Diego knows about La Jolla, but did you know there's an even better snorkeling spot? Avoid the big waves and crowds with this more relaxed snorkel experience geared for all skill levels.

I taught middle and high school marine biology for more than a decade before committing to environmental tourism! With fifteen years of teaching youth and adults in outdoor education settings, plus my background in conservation biology, provides guests with in-depth (pun intended) knowledge of marine life during our snorkel.

Groups are small (maximum of 5 participants, with occasional exceptions for private groups/families) which makes a more intimate and personal experience.

My wife and I went snorkeling with Matt in Mission Bay. We were a bit apprehensive at first - what would we be able to see there? We were so blown away by Matt’s professionalism and ability to simultaneously attend to safety and spot marine life that we’ve been out with him dozens of times since - all over San Diego! Matt’s knowledge of California’s marine life is truly unparalleled and only rivaled by his ability to put you at ease in the sea. We had an awesome time snorkeling with Matt. The location was great and we saw lots of cool sea life. Matt is friendly and knowledgeable and was able to find some hard to spot animals. He also got some really great photos and videos of our swim. Highly Recommend! We'll also be rebooking in the future.
