Expensive waste of time. Many machines were broken.Questions were unrelated to the subject. The assessment at the end was completely off. The results it showed were different than the results I got right after doing the individual tests. When we went to the front desk, we were asked to write in a review because "management didn't believe the complaints they were getting from customers". The only positive thing I can say, is it looks cool. All of Manhattan looks cool so I don't get why anyone would like it other than someone coming from a rural place that has nothing to do. The best thing was the elevator ride up for which we had to wait 10 minutes. DON"T waste your time

We visited SPYSCAPE on a recent anniversary trip. We knew nothing about it before going, it was highly recommended by a friend. My husband and I are both competitors at heart, so the interactive games were a lot of fun for us. The displays and information about the history of espionage were phenomenal. We learned so much, and seeing the WWII Enigma machines and spy gear were a highlight for me. Loved finding out where my spy skills would land me a job, and seemed to fit my personality and strengths very well, same for my husband. We plan to take our sons soon!

I had no idea what to expect as a friend reserved our visit to Spyscape. We really enjoyed our visit. First, know that this is not an escape room. This is an interactive spy museum. I loved that the facility highlighted real world spy matters and then shared information about the movies and actors that portrayed the real life characters. They had authentic encryption machines along with movie props. The interactive activists throughout the space were very interesting. There were people there with younger grade school kids who didn’t really seem to understand some of the puzzles in the interactive segments but those things can be skipped if younger kids don’t understand it. It is not a great activity for toddlers - actually don’t bring toddlers - especially if they are in meltdown mode, as they will ruin the experience for older kids/adults. This is a fun thing to do for couples, adult groups or families with tweens or teens.
