This small-group tour is limited in order to maintain an atmosphere suitable for the ghost walk.

  • A Ghostly Encounter’s Storm Policy (as follows)
  • 1. A Ghostly Encounter tours operate rain or shine. Florida weather changes rapidly and is unpredictable, and we monitor our weather prior to all tours.
  • 2. If lighting is present in the area: we will delay the start of the tour for 20 minutes to give the storm time to pass, then proceed as normal.
  • 3. If lightening remains present in the area, management may decide to reschedule the tour. Guests will be moved to the following evening’s tours or to the nearest date convenient with the group.
  • 4. If rescheduling is not convenient, each guest will be provided a voucher for a future A Ghostly Encounter tour, subject to availability. For offer to be valid, guest must present the voucher directly to our office staff upon returning to St. Augustine or speak directly with the office staff to reschedule (not through a third-party booking site). Please remember to bring your voucher with you. Lost or forgotten vouchers will not be honored; however, vouchers do not expire.

We went on the Tuesday night 8pm tour with Hippie and it was the best ghost tour I have been on. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain not only the history but how paranormal investigators would approach the haunting. It was a great learning experience and left us talking about it for the rest of the trip! Loved every second! He was amazing with every guest, no matter their age, and made it engaging for all! I would love for Hippie to be my guide on any future ghost tour I do around the world!

This is a great way to get a little bit of the history and also see the city. I loved it! It’s a lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes.
